Hi:

I currently have partitioned my HD to Windows XP and Red Hat Linux.

Can I use Partition Magic to create space for a third OS - Windows 2000?

Thanks

JP

Yes, assuming you have a recent version of Partition Magic that recognizes the filesystems you are using in those partitions, you can resize one or both of those partitions to make room for a new one.

Of course, PM won't (to my knowledge) handle how to set up your triple-boot system, i.e. what boot manager to use and how to configure it. But as long as you can handle that, getting the partitions there won't be a problem.

Why do you need a 3rd OS? Have you looked into VmWare?

Thanks for your tip. It was very helpful.

Can you point me to a site that gives VmWare installation info for Win2K? The vmware.com site did not have much info for personal pcs.

Thanks.
