PArtially blank reports coming on first load

I am trying to run crystal reports from the java front end app. When i load the report initially, the report is coming up with partially blank data. What ever data comes up is either 1 s or junk value.

The wierder thing is this does not happen always. Once in a blue moon it comes up blank and it runs correctly on going back to the previous page, refreshing it and submiting the report run request.

Any idea why this is happening so....???
