2) Use Winrar, avaiable at for all your file compression needs, there's almost no compression algorythym it can't handle(ew, double-negative). It also supports a repair function, so long as the individual who compressed the .zip, .rar, or whatever chose to put a recovery record in the file. James P. Grant III
