Hello. I've been having a hard time finding out some information on a Nortel Fiber box, Fiber Remote Multi-IPE Interface Multimode 1-2 superloop box. WE recently replaced one, thinking it was bad, but we think the fiber was bad too. I understand that we can do testing through the Maint Port of this box, but I dont have the correct adaptors for this. But I do have the serial ports to go through the modem portion and login to this box. The commands seem to work. Is there a difference between Modem and maintenance ports?
