anyone have a script to parse outlook or txt email files?
I have a few ideas but thought I'd ask just in case anyone here has already climbed this mountain.

thanks

Can you be more specific? Outlook doesn't store email in txt files. They are stored in either a local database file(s) or on a server database. If you're looking to query data for Outlook connected to an Exchange server, you could look into using MAPI.

Plan for performance, and capacity takes care of itself. Plan for capacity, and suffer poor performance.

Just being able to pull the data as in looking for anything after the word account: or Username:

Would you need admin access to the exchange server or could this be done from an end user account within outlook? Not looking to parse the entire exchange server of my company which has over 8,000 employees but rather just parsing my own messages for useful data. I haven't used MAPI is this a scripting program or something specific to outlook? I use forms for my job but still employees send me data within emails which is acceptable but was just curious if something like this was out there. I have read on google where people have done something similar but just thought I'd post a question here to see if anyone here has done this already.
