Parsing log files for traffic

I'm pondering on the best way to track the traffic of various web sites. The sites are on a Cobalt RAQ 4 and I can parse apache for traffic goign out, how/where do I get the traffic going in? The RAQs allow the users to use FTP as well as Front Page....

Any suggestions?
