Hi, how can i determine whether a field contains text, where and how many, knowing that I never know what the text will be unless I browse it record by record? So, I can get the numerics embedd in between or before or after. e.g. the possible value can be "H0012345R03" (in this case, I would like to get the numeric between the text); or "B127800" or "127800R" (in this case, I'll need to get the 127800 with one preceding zero)

many thanks in advance.

PS It is best not to use all capitals in your headings.
