I just found out that a friend of mine has been diagnosed with Parkinson's. Part of his job is witting e-mails. Unfortunately typing has become a problem for him. I did some research on special keyboards and speech recognition. But are so many options that it's a bit confusing. Has anyone some knowledge/experience with this ?

I wish I had specific recommendations and I'm sorry about your friend's Parkinson's.

My advice (the way I'd do it) is for your friend to just try out some things. Don't research too much, just get something. Experiment and your friend will learn what he likes and dislikes about this and that. He might discover that something is good, but would be better if it had another feature and then he can look for the keyboard or software that has that feature, etc.

I wish him luck in finding something that meets his needs.

Thanks for your response. It's hard to deal with things you can't change.
