not sure if this is the right forum for this but as my sites are on a linux server someone might know :)

if i park dom1.com under dom2.com does this mean that dom1.com is the same as dom2.com?

does it also mean that all email sent to dom1.com can be opened/downloaded thru the pop addres mail.dom2.com?

so myname@dom1.com would in fact be the same as myname@dom2.com and would also be saved in the same mailbox?

thanks,
Thomas

Depends on how your mailserver is configured and how your MX records(DNS) are configured.

If the MX records are pointing to the same machine as dom2.com and the machine is accepting mail for dom1.com plus the mailserver knows dom1.com is also local (for that machine) then there is a great possibility that the mail would be in the same box ( see it as myname@* ). All this is just plain guessing, the best thing is to ask the sysadmin of that machine.

ok, thanks
