Parked calls on ucx50 for sip phones

Parking calls via sip phones do not announce or give parking lot locations. Nortel phones when parking calls either by way of F74 or dialing parking lot extension announces location where call is parked...Call comes into sip ext. are answered then press transfer - parking lot location and transfer. No announcement and nothing in display except CID info and MOH is played. Now, another ext. has parked the call, retrieve it from that park location from a sip phone I can then park the call and get a parked location in the display, but not announced. It seems as though once I have accessed the parking lot then I can park and receive a park location via display...Any thoughts

Just to be clear when you state that you dial the parking lot location you mean the pilot park number (100) that you set up in the parking module. So : answer call, press transfer, dial 100# (pound sign sends the digits immediately), wait for announcement and press transfer again. Should work like a charm.

What type of SIP phone? Most phones you can configure a "park" key which will do the trans/100/trans for you with one push of a button and then you could program BLF keys on spare line buttons for the park slots (101,102...). I do this all the time using Cisco SPA5XX sets

I'm using a Yealink T26P. I have already tried programming a park button and my park extension as the value. It will park the call but does not announce park location.
