I'm having a problem using park zones on a Magix system with a single operator console (MLX-28D). I've renumbered the 8 parkzone numbers and have programmed the buttons on the MLX-28D for parking calls to the 8 zones.

When a call comes in, they can park a call to any one of the zones. When a 2nd call comes in while the first call is still parked, the operator cannot park the 2nd or any subsequent calls.

Any reasons for this that anyone can think of?

Probably need to add more SA (system access) buttons to her phone.

I didn't think of that. I will give it a try. Thanks much!

I am having problems adding SA buttons to the phone; trying to apply *16 on any button (I've read that SA buttons can only be applied on the first 10 buttons) results in "programming error".
As it is now, after the SA Ring and SA Voice buttons on the main console, I have Lines 801 through 812 displayed, in order. I can't seem to add another SA button to this phone. Why is this?

Two things:

1: SA buttons can only be added through centralized programming. sys program-->start--> the right arrow or more-->cntr-prg--> program extension-->{{enter in extension number of console}}-->enter-->select button-->*16.

2: you need to remove the lines on the console(DLC) then add the SA buttons, then add the lines back on again. How do you do this you ask? sys program--> start-->extensions-->lines trunks-->{{enter in extension number of console}}-->enter-->(now you are going to see a bunch of red and green lights. the green lights mean that those lines are assigned to that extension, the red ones mean that they are in a pool)press the first button where your first sa ring button is, the button on the lower left hand side. All the green lights will go out. Congradulations, you have now removed the lines in that pool from the console. Don't forget to add them back after assigning the sa buttons.

Ah yes, so it is.
Thank you. I have now added an additional SA Ring button. Will have to wait and see if this solves the park zone issue.
I Appreciate your quick response.
