Park Ringback

Question? Operator using a 4424 phone w/out phonemanager or softconsole. I have 6 call-appearances with 6 different park zones. She answers call then parks, after 2 minutes call that is parked comes back to her via a call-appr button showing outside call? She is then answering as it was a new call because she can't identify that it is an existing park call? Any ideas? I can't change the ring tone for the call that is coming off of park, nor can I relabel the call that is parked?

Please any advice is appreciated.

3.0 promises distinctive ringing (between internl/external and ringback) calls for all phones. That should include 4424 (it will be distinguished from a new call but the ring type used won't be adjustable).

2.1.27 actually does support different ring types (at least for 44xx, I believe it was always supported for 64xx, not at all certain about euro-phones). Wasn't supposed to be there - code creep.

I too had this problem and created some hunt groups with a disabled member which then overflowed back to the main incoming group. The operator transfers the call to the group. When the call returns the display shows the group name of park 1 etc. Calls can be retrieved by pressing the dss key for the group.This worked sweet on V1.4 as transferred calls got music while waiting however on V2 that changed to ring tone. I haven't managed to get over the ring tone prob so if someone has an idea I'd love to know.

do the calls need to come back aotumatically and do they have indication of the parked calls, extend the return timer so she can retreive manually.

Thanks all, she is getting confused because the amount of calls she gets per day, and all phones have 6 park zones on them. Why don't they beep versus coming back on a call appearance? Maybe next release.
