Here't the scenario:
A doctors office has a new 406v2 r3.0. They are using 5410 and 5420 phones. When a 2 calls are parked they "sometimes" end up talking to each other. There have been instances where two patients were talking to each other until someone retrieved a parked call.

Also, there are problems retrieving parked calls occasionally. The patient has had to hang up and call back in order to get out of park.

The new patch for 5420 phones has been installed.
 
Another issue that this system is havingis this. When a call somes in on one particular line they cant always answer it. It will be ringing and they will be running from phone to phone trying to get it. Any thoughts on this one?
 
Nevermind on these issues. They are known issues and they have a patch to install that fixes it.
 
What type of patch is there? I have a similar problem with 44xx phones.

 
Isnt it to do with needing call appearance buttons programmed?

I had similar problems with calls not ringing or having the ability to answer on certain telephones. My customer was not happy and finally . . . . I got the right help. Telephones that seem to mysteriously not work, cannot call out, go idle (as I captured with a monitor session), etc.. are all known issues with 406v2 3.0(40). I was given the information to download the latest (unreleased to the public yet) patch which is 3.0(44). This resolved my issues! I just wish there was a faster bulletin posted somewhere because I ended up replaced the 406v2 in a failed attempt because the issue was with the software. The download is a full admin cd.
 
If you have a good reseller then they should know about the beta releases and the issues wich has been fixed in it.
