Hi. I'm on a G3si R11. We use Park/Page buttons that are abbreviated dials programmed for 10xxxx. Where 10 is the TAC for paging and XXXX would be the station's extension. In this setup users have to press transfer then the programmed "Park/Page" button then transfer again when they are done announcing the call to complete the park. This works fine except when they already have one call on hold and get another call. In that case when they press transfer to "Park/Page" the new call the two calls are conferenced together, a very awkward situation. This is a system wide thing and I have tested it on several different stations. Any ideas what I can change to make the transfer/conference thing not happen?

I believe that in the console parameters screen you can increase the shared extensions. Check and make sure the number on page 2 of console paramaters is at least 3. Then when a call comes in the operator will park one on the first extension, a second call comes in the operator has to park and page for the second extension. 1st might be 4500 second will be parked and paged to 4501. Hope this helps.
