Is there a way to parent a layer to another at a specific point in the timeline? I want two objects to "fly" in from different locations, then "fly" off together as one.

Sorry, I forgot to mention, I'm using 5.5. If it's absolutely necessary, I can use 6.5 in our edit bay for this, but it'll slow down a very tight schedule.

Im not sure if this is what your looking to do,but once your two objects come together, highlight both objects in the time line then go to layer/pre-compose... and what that does is it lyncs both objects so that your able to move them as one.
