Out intranet site is hosted on a Windows 2003 server. I understand that, by default, Windows 2003 does not support parent paths ("..\"). However, there is an option where I can Enable parent paths, which I have.
I have serveral HTML pages that include .vbs and .cls files. I never had a problem including the .vbs files using parent paths. But until I discovered that Enable parent paths option I wasn't able to include .cls files. But I'm still unable to pick up .udl files that use parent paths (..\MyLibrary\MyConnection.udl).
If I launch my page using share names (\\myIntranet\myfolder\myPage.htm) I have no problems. But when I launch the page as then I have problems with the parent paths.
What am I missing as far as not picking up the .udl file?
I would prefer using virtual paths, put can't seem to get them to work client-side.
