Is there any way to get the (parent) form name of a given control?

Or try ButtonName.form. Works with NN an IE. "Alright whatever man, I'll hook up the hair, but I aint touchin the ring...Cause I'm still a pla--yer"

element.form will work in IE (all DHTML versions) and NS (all DHTML versions).

element.parentNode should work in NS6 and IE5+.

note that element.parentNode will work outside of a form also (very useful :) jared@aauser.com
