Last week a query involving examples in order to link fields in two different tables went from a 7 second query to a 7 minute query.
It may have been caused by security upgrades or my server crashing due to a lack of space from error logs that was later corrected from another application's maintenance issue that was subseqently fixed.
I moved the files locally to test the problems with speed experienced on the server.
My local machine is xp. I notice that in certain folders the query works at a 7 second pace and in other folders it takes 7 minutes (both local). Due to many of my programs utilizing numerous queries I am in big trouble.
Any ideas?
