Hello, please, could anobody of us give me an advice how to set special case of an input parametr - I need to insert parametr which is not related to a database field, This parametr schould contain only numeric value /offcourse after user entry/ which will be used in report for further calculations.
Next question - how to use kumulative values in cross tab used in reports /e.g. - months 1,2,3 3months period 4,5,6 half year ....etc.)
MAny thanks Petr

Just create a parameter and reference it's contents, as in:

{?MyParm}[1]

will return the 1st value entered into the parm.

And you can use a loop to iterate through it for whatever purposes, and check out the split and join functions, they're useful with arrays.

For the crosstab, select the Group options in the Format cross tab screen to change the periods from day to week, month, quarter, etc.
