I am using Start Date and End date as parameter for the report which are defined in the command. The parameters seems to be ording by Alphabetic order. So, Every time I run the report it asks for the end date first and Start date second. Users end up entering start date for end date the report errors. Can we control the order the Parameters needs to be shown? or any other alternate

Thanks,
RR

Hi,
Name the Parameters so they display in the order you want:

A_StartDate
B_EndDate

for instance ( modify the selection formula, of course.)

Thanks,

There is set parameter order in the report not in the command object. Where I could set the order.

You should be able to right click on "Parameter Fields" in the Field Explorer and select "Set Parameter Order".

The parameters still appear in the field explorer, even though created in the command, and you can right click on the parameter and move it up or down in the list. You can work with parameters in the edit parameter screen, just as you would if you created the parameter the usual way.
