Hi All,

I Have a crystal report A, which was scheduled in Business Objects. I Made changes to the report by adding a new parameter and over written the existing Report A on Business Objects Server.

The Report instances ( Scheduled daily) are failed because the new parameter is not listed in the parameter list on Business Objects Server.

Any ideas ?? How to solve this issue

Thank you for your help

Do you mean Business Objects Enterprise XI?

Go into the CMC, open the report object, and make sure that under the Process Tab the Database and Parameters are set correctly.

Do you mean that you added a parameter? e.g. the report used to have 3 parameters and now it has 4? If that's the case you must re-schedule any existing schedules for that report. This is because your old scheduled instance only contains 3 parameter inputs, and the report now needs an additional input in order to run.

If you're using BO XI, you can use the 'Reschedule' feature in InfoView to take the old schedule instance, update it with the missing parameter, and create a new schedule to replace the existing schedule. That will make sure your new schedule is consistent with the old one for all the other options (destination, format, etc).
