Ok so I have an access 2007 table which I was updating with a new field. This is a Memo field and all appears fine. After saving the table and form update suddenly when I go to reopen the Db or the Form it asks to fill in a parameter. It does not require an entry if I select OK then it will open the form. If I select cancel the parameters msgbox disappears but will not load form.

I need to prevent the parameter msgbox from opening.

Thank you,
Chad

Here's my guess, and really, this should be in one of the Access forums. So, you may need to move it over to one of these:
forum702
or
forum181

But in case we can take care of it right now, it sounds like at least this is your problem.

[ol][li]The form you're talking about is set to open when you open the database - that explains it happening when you open the database or open the form from within the database.[/li]
[li]For your form, it's 1 of at least 2 different possibilities: Either the Form's recordsource is set to a query which has an error, or which you've set up to be an input query... OR you have some code attempting to load an errored query, or else an input query.[/li][/ol]

Whatever the case, if that doesn't get you where you need to be, try restating the question with a little more detail after some of your own investigation over in one of the above forums. If it were me, I'd go with the Forms forum.
