I have a parameter that I cannot delete because it is being used in the report. I can't find it anywhere. Is there a way to delete this anyway or to search to find where it is hidden?

I'm going to assume that you've looked at the Select Expert and at all of your formulas. Some other places to look for it:

1. Go to the Section Expert. Look at each section for a formula button that has red text instead of blue. Click on the red buttons (this means they have a formula in them) to see what's in your formulas.

2. For each object in the report, right-click and select "Format...". Look through the tabs for the red buttons and check the formulas there.

Another option would be to change the value type of the parameter - say from string to date. When you run the report, for every place where the param is used, there should be an error and (I believe this was the case in 8.5) Crystal should show you the formula so that you can edit it.

If it is not in the select expert, then it gets real difficult. You can export the report definition and see if you can find it in there.

Lots of luck.
