I'm creating a report from a database with an heirarchical category linking. ie, an organisation is linked to a 3rd level category, which in turn is linked to a 2nd level cateory, which again is linked to a 1st level category.

I'm wanting to use a parameter to select a number of catogories to produce mailing labels from, however I want to be able to select a first level, bring back only those second level categories that fall under it and then select those that I want to search, and so on.

Is there a way of doing this, or am I clutching at straws?

Have a look at the list of 3rd-party Crystal reports tools provided at:
My DataLink Viewer provides this functionality (dynamic & cascading parameters).

I'm not aware of a way to achieve this just with Crystal.

Cheers,
