Hi,

I'm using BO XI 2 on SQL Server.

I have published a Crystal Report object which uses dynamic and static parameters.

In the CMC, I can see and assign values to the parameters. However, in Infoview, if I attempt to schedule and expand the parameters, I get the following error:[bold]
An error has occurred: javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: An error occurred while evaluating custom action attribute "test" with value "${scheduleForm.hasUnusedParameters}": Unable to find a value for "hasUnusedParameters" in object of class "com.crystaldecisions.ePortfolio.plugin.crystalenterprise.report.ReportScheduleForm" using operator "." (null)
[/bold]
I have no idea what this means, or why I might be getting it. Has anyone seen this before, or have any idea what it might mean?

Thanks

You said " if I attempt to schedule and expand the parameters" Does this mean you are scheduling this report and opening the parameters and when you open the parameters to put in defaults (for the scheduled report) it give yu this error?

That's right - but in Infoview.

I'm not trying to force defaults in the CMC. The default values for the parameters are [EMPTY].

The error occurs when a user attempts to assign parameter values at runtime.

Any ideas?

You can't have empty parameters with a scheduled report. You must set defaults in the select criteria for a scheduled report or have no parameters at all.

My bad, sorry. If our users want a scheduled report it usually means they don't want to be bothered with having to put in parameters or logging on to the RAS to run the report. I wasn't familiar with this setting until you said something Synapsevampire so, thanks.

I set the default parameters in Crystal and then place the report in BOE repository. When the user schedules the report in infoview, the default parameters are already set.

If the user wants to change the default, then they can tweak the parameters prior to scheduling the report.
