Hi,
I have a report based on a stored proc. The stored proc has 5 parameters. In the report design I have set the default values using the import pick list function. I have Values and Descriptions. I chose to Display Description only.
This all works perfectly when in the designer. When I run the report via the viewer, it displays the values, which are guids, instead of the descriptions.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Jeff

As I understand it, a stored procedure doesn't honor any descriptions from the CR parameters, they are independent.

Create a formula to display the descriptions:

If {?parm} = "A123jkfgdsalfeu9irueiowr" then
"Some text"
else if...

It may be that version 9 or 10 allows you to add descriptions, but I'm not aware of it.

SP parms come from the SP, not from Crystal.

I'd be curious as to how you'd gotten it to display within CR properly.
