Parameters Crystal XI

I'm working on modifying a packing list so shipping department can input quantity to pack/ship per orderline.

I have a dynamic parameter for them to select the orderline(s) to ship but how do I allow them to enter a qty to ship per line? I have a static parameter called qty but it puts the same value for every line.

Have you included some values in the static parameter? Either by manually entering them or "Append all database values

No I haven't but how would it know that qty of 5 goes to line 2 and qty of 2 (orginal qty 5 but three are backordered) goes with line 1.

I am getting confused with what you are asking.
Are you saying that the qty's you want to show depend on the line chosen? if so then do a cascading parameter with the qty coming afer the line.

Correct but can they enter a custom value for that line? If so, how?
