I have one group field,and a few other selected fields including a field parameter. when i pass a value to this parameter the other field values won't change.if someone has any idea why this is not working for me please let me know. as always thank you inadvance

Field values don't change because of a parameter.

Try posting technical information, your post doesn't make sense:

Crystal version
Database/connectivity used
Example data
Expected output


If you're trying to limit the rows returned by the database as a result of a parameter, use the Report->Edit Selection Formula->Record:

{table.field} = {?MyParameter}

I have these fields selected from the database by passing a value to a parameter field "jobnumber".Eventhough I have changed the value for the jobnumber the above records do not change the value.

How are you passing the value to the parameter?

Do you not know any of the technical information requested?

Help in CR will tell you the version.

I gave you an example of how to limit rows.

You should share what you've tried, saying that you did something and it doesn't work doesn't help, share what you tried, where and what the results are.

Not sure why you're unwilling to share technical information.
