Hey all,

This might be a simple one to answer but I was wondering if there was a way in Crystal Reports 8 to format what the user selects in a parameter.

I have a datetime that I have set up as a dynamic parameter and was wondering if I could just make it a date without the time.

Thanks in advance!

I think that a dynamic parameter can only take the format of the table itself. If I am wrong let me know. :)

If you know how to do it for your particular database, you could convert the datetime to a date in a command, and then reference the command for the dynamic parameter.

YOu can also use a Date Parameter to select date times. However, you can not use it in the select expert wizard. You have to use it directly in the select expert formula editor.

Crystal then automatically assigns it as a Midnight date time for what ever date you enter.
