Parameter Search for wildcard values of specified field

Hello
Using Crystal reports V9.0.
I need to setup a parameter to allow users to select the initial string of value they are looking for and then apply a wild card.
e.g. All users are setup with an identifier of RH followed by their location RHDV or RHHM etc. There are multiple resources for each team, therefore would like to list all resources commencing with RHHM* or RHDV*.
Prefer not to have to hard code as additional teams could come on board etc.

First, Create a string parameter {?SearchString}

Second, Create a formula {@SearchString}:
{?SearchString}&"*"

Last, in Record Selection put :
{Table.Field} like {@SearchString}

replacing the item in bold with your real field...
