parameter reports are not working in enterprise XI

Hi:

I created a parameterised reports in CR XI version. when I publish them in server(CRS XI) It is not prompting me for parameters.

Could someone help me so that when i open report through infoview it should prompt users to prompt for parameters.

Check for two things:

(a) That you didn't save the report with data.
(b) That you didn't set parameter values in the object as part of the publishing process. i.e. They should each default to EMPTY.

Here are a few tips:

Rather than using the Publishing wizard, save directly from Crystal Reports (note the Enterprise icon in the lower left hand corner when using the the save or save as dialog box).

The advantages are many, for instance you can save over the top of an existing report and retain it's scheduling and historical instances, however whenever you save a report using the wizard OR from Crystal, you need to go back in the the proceses->database and parameters tab and reset the database connectvitiy, and you need to also activate the parameters by selecting prompt user.

I tried directly from crystal reports but I couldnt.

When I try from wizard. I couldnt see any check box from prompting.

Please help in this regard.

when your using the wizzard and when you get to the part where it show on top change default values
click review or modify propreties click next and till you get set report paramter
