I'm running a report using a stored procedure and when I change the position of the parameters in the the list, it won't keep it. The parameters change back to their original position. For instance the original positions are:

Cover Sheet
Primary Sort
Hide SSN
Supervisor
Summary
.....
Course

What I want it to say is this:

Cover Sheet
Primary Sort
Course
.....
Summary
Supervisor

Where I have periods is where there are other parameters fields that are all out of order as well.

Why does Crystal Report do this when you create a report against a stored procedure? Is there a way to fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, Synapsevampire that doesn't fix it.

Crystal always asks for Stored procedure parameters in the order the stored procedure ask for them. If you want to change the order you have to change the order in the stored procedure.

Ahhh, I had thought when you said that you changed the order of the parms in the list you meant in the SP, not in CR.

Lisa is correct.

in crystal select a parm go to edit then set default value then in drop down box order chose what you want
