i have created a parameter query using a date set. i have a second query that runs off the first and a report that runs of the second query. when i run the report i have to enter the date set 3 times. is there anyway to default the date sets to only run once?
thanks

How is the flow set up? Is it like so:

1. Query1 has date parms
2. Query2 uses Query1 for it's field list and you are not redoing the parms in Query2's grid.
3. The report uses Query2 as a record source (be sure the filed names on the report match the field names in Query2 not Query1).

If you are simply doing the above, then you should only get prompted once for your dates. If not, then you will need to explain in more detail.

Hope this helps, lcjohnson@kawvalley.org

I would create a control on a form asking for the date, then direct the queries and the report to collect my date from the form.
