I am running CR 10 against an informix database and have a report which is basically a form that needs to be sent to multiple vendors that the user will identify from a parameter pick list. How do you set a parameter to print the form once for each vendor with each vendors name and address being filled in on the form?

Also, my vendor table has several fields relative to the vendor's address, i.e., po_box, street1, street2, street3. Most cases only one or two of these fields is relevant to a given vendor. What is the formula syntax to select only those fields that are not null?

Thanks,
Randy

You would group the report by the vendor, and then place the fields in the group header/details/group footer.

Addresses are generall best displayed by using multiple sections, such as the details area. Right click the details and select insert section below, then place the fields into their relative positions within the sections, such as:

name
add1
add2
add3
city, st zip

In the Section Expert for each section select Suppress Blank Section.

Thanks a million. I keep trying to cook up far more complex solutions to these types of issues. Yours was much simpler and worked like a charm.
