I have a Parameter which uses a table to get its values. An example is a parameter based on the Cuatomer Table or a Order ID Parameter base on the Orders table. I use a SQL expression that gets raw data from an Oracle table. As you are aware when looking at the DB Expert, SQL expression shows as a Command with a Cutomer Table linked. That's Fine.

When I update the SQL expression to make changes, the DB link and everything seems fine. When I test the program,I noticed that all of the values in my parameter list are gone. I have to select the table again. Load the values and re-enter the definitions and describe how I want the parameter to sort, save it and then I'm back..

Can you help? Why is the list disappearing? Why am I having to re-enter the list? Is this a bug? Is there a way to keep it from disappearing?

Thanks for your help!!

I don't think that you're using a SQL Expression, you're using SQL within the Add Command, you can't link a SQL Expression in the data expert.

I think that's expected behavior for fields based on the Add Command.
