Parameter Field not displaying via CE8Std Web

When i create a (simple) report in Crystal 8.5 with a Parameter Field, it functions correctly (prompting me for a value before running the report).
When i publish this report for use in CE 8 Std, and view it via ePortfolio, I am not prompted to select a value, it just picks the first in the list of choices and runs the report.
Has anyone else had this problem ? Does anyone know the solution ?

You need to go to the parameters tab for the report in the CMC. Make certain that the "prompt user" check box is checked.
