Parameter created to prompt selection of State(s) Problem 1

I created a parameter which prompts users to select information for specific state(s). However, when the state abbreviation for MI is selected MI, DC, NY data appears in report. This occurs when MI is selected singularly, too.
Any thoughts on why this would occur?

A bad record selection formula.

You are correct. I had selected the wrong "state" field from table. Thanks.
