Parallel processing using RMI HELP

I'm trying to get a parallel processing program utilizing the JAI and RMI. The JAI has bultin RMI capabilities.
However, trying to get the examples working from the JAI documentation is a nightmare. Can anyone pls help, by providing advice on how I would go about creating a parallel processing application using JAI and RMI.
