Parallel printer to USB port

I'm a bit of a newbie in SCO Unix, so please forgive....

We have a parallel printer that we need to attach to our SCO Open Server 6 box. There are no more internal slots available, so we are probably going to have to use a USB port.

Is there an option in SCO for defining a USB printer? Would it have a tty name?

Is there any "trick" to setting up a USB printer in SCO?

There may be another option: we have several serial ports available on our DigiBoard... but I've yet to find a parallel to serial converter. Does such a thing exist?

Thanks for your help...
