"Corel® WordPerfect® Office X4 Service Pack Now Available Offers Performance and Compatibility Enhancements Plus Paradox® X4 Optimized for Windows Vista®"

So, it sounds like the Paradox update is CD only. Not sure about customers other than "North America".

"In addition to downloading and installing SP1, customers who wish to run WordPerfect Office X4 Professional including Paradox X4 on Windows Vista should contact Corel to request a specific Paradox update that optimizes the software to work with Microsoft’s latest operating system. Offered on CD, the update is available free to registered users in North America by contacting Corel Customer Support at 1-800-772-6735."

Don't have X4, but sure hope someone out there can test the patch.

And also let us know if they have one for Runtime, as well.

"It's not about having enough time; we have the rest of our lives. It's about priorities.

So you need to call/contact? You can't just go and download? Typical.

We have a small Runtime network with all XP machines. Data and netdir are on one of these workstations and the others access them as necessary via mapped drives. The new laptop has Vista and in the BDE we are not offered any non-local hard drives for the netdir location. Can't just type them in either - or at least it doesn't work if we do. The laptop can see the data via the mapped drives, but obviously can't use it without the netdir poblem being resolved. Any suggestions welcome!
