I'm using apache server/php to connect to a v7 paradox database via odbc. Everything works fine for an hour or so , then the system falls over. I've narrowed the problem down to a file handle leak - the systems run out of file handles [if i try to connect to a network drive via windows explorer i get a 'no more file handles available error'. I'm pretty sure this is down to the paradox odbc as none of the php code opens any files.

Anyone out there got any ideas? - are there any better odbc/paradox drivers than the microsoft ones

any help greatly appreciated.
