When I try to run Paradox for Windows on my LapTop (Win XP) I get :

Can't run 16-bit Windows program.
Insufficient memory to run this applcation. Quit one or more Windows applications and then try again.

Programm works OK on my desktop (Also Win XP).

Any suggestions???

What version of Windows?

What level (service pack) of WinXP?

Another question was in there:

What version of Paradox?

(how does one line not get posted?)

PARADOX FOR WINDOWS Version 1.0 -- 1992 release???

I am trying to move the tables from Paradox 4.0 DOS to this version of Paradox for windows. I got this version of PDX WIN a long time ago. I only got around to install it now.

Thanks.

Well, a 14 year old program on xp.

Have you set the 'compatibility' mode in the icon used to start Paradox?

I don't know of anyone who is still running that version.

As far as the tables, the version you have may be the most recent to that version. I don't think the table format changed until 5.

But that also depends on what version of table format each of your tables are actually in.
