I know where I work is part of a dying breed. People who still use Paradox 4.5. But we do and I've had to dump some data from a Microsoft Access table into a Paradox table. The problem is the Social Security Number in the Paradox table has no dashes. The Social Security Number in Access table I exported into Paradox has dashes. Is there a simple way to get rid of the dashes.

I would be most appreciative of any suggestions.

Thanks

paw

i'm sure you've already gotten past this problem as the question was posed a few months ago but try this in a miniscript:

scan []=xtrim([],"-") endscan
