I have recently re-installed Paradox on my machine and have lost the ability to automatically populate the Search Box, when you select Cntrl + Z. I had this functionality on my last installation and wonder is anyone knows whether this is a setting in one of the menus, developer preferences etc, or if its an error in my installation.

I've been using Paradox since 3.0 for DOS, and haven't heard of this functionality.

What version are you using, and what did you do to populate the popup with a value?

You could always create a form that does exactly what you want, and trap for ctrl-z and pop your custom form.

I think you will find it is a faulty installation, CTRL +Z work fine on my version V10.

Dear all,

Thanks for replying, I have found out that there was a version of Paradox 9 that contained bugs, Like the one i found when you try to search for variables in code. However I have removed the version of Paradox 9 from my machine and installed the full copy of Word Perfect 2000. Everything is now fine and the search function is working correctly.

Thanks Again,

Paul
