hi i have a db table file without px file. When i try to open in delphi i receive "data is out of index" and i cant do it with database desktop. How to copy the contents to another and good db file.I have to recover this information. Thanks

filipe26,

Are there other files besides the .DB, e.g. .X?? or .Y?? files? If so, you'll want to delete those, too, along with any .VAL, .SET, or .FAM files.

Do not delete the .MB file, though; otherwise, you lose the memo and BLOB data.

Hope this helps...

You can delete the index file to effect your transfer then rebuild it by restructuring and reassigning the keyed fields and secondary indexes. No problem. The index is yada.px .

Before you chuck the .val, .set and .fam files, try it with just the .px file x'd.
