Hello there:

I use Paradox a great deal for reading Oracle tables.
Up to now I have had sufficient licences of Visual DBase 7 client server to provide me with the Oracle drivers in the BDE engine.
However, I am about to migrate to W2000/Xp and my guess is old DBase 7 will not like it.
Does anybody know from where i can get the Oracle drivers for the BDE engine 5, appropriate to Paradox 8,9 and 10?
THanks!!

cobweb,

You should already have the latest drivers. IIRC, Corel installs the SQL Link enabled version of BDE. (The lastest--read: last--version, though, is available from
BTW, you should be able to install VD7 under Windows 2000/XP. You may need to set the application compatibility properties, but it should work. After all, Paradox 7.32 still works, once the appropriate settings have been changed.

Hope this helps...
