paradox 7 data base crash (help)

I have recovered a paradox 7 data base that was shared with 3 users, i can get each user in one by one but not all three at once. please help, department head won't change database.
 
It sounds like the BDE settings for each workstation are not set to share a common NET file.

I agree with Langley check out faq faq177-3972 for details on how to set up paradox on a network.

You also need to search the local drives for any paradox related *.net and *.lck files that might be there. Do this while no one is in the system and delete them. When the net directory is not available paradox asks if the user wants to open anyway, when they say yes it puts a pdoxusrs.net file on the local root. Then when the net is back up this conflicts with the net file on the server.
