What needs to be done to install & operate paradox 5 on windows 2000 NTFS?

Keep in mind that Paradox 5.0 is a 16-bit product and uses 16-bit BDE. Since Win2K is derived from the NT4 code base, you may be wiser to consider obtaining a 32-bit version of Paradox by either upgrading to the latest version from Corel or picking up an older version from an auction site, like EBay.)

In any event, here are some suggestions:

1. Verify that Win2K is configured properly for BDE applications; see the following sites for details:
