paradox 45 on windows 2000 professional

running paradox 45 dos on windows nt 4 with windows 2000 professional client (dont ask) we get "unexpected error has occured leaving paradox"
what to do?

Have a look through this forum, there are a number of discussions about using Paradox for DOS under 32-bit Windows.

Part of the problem may well be too much memory on the PC, Paradox does not like more than 16Mb. Can be fixed with the command line option -extk n where n is a number of kb.

I have loaded paradox 4.5 at home on Win 2000 professional. It worked as long as I started it with the memory restriction.

It is Paradox -extk 14336 -emk 0
