Can anyone tell me why a Pantone swatch definition of a color would not look the same if you manually defined it as a CMYK mix?
For example, take PANTONE 242. This is a "burgundy" color. In the pantone swatch, it says the CMYK value components are: 9, 94, 0, 51. The problem is, if you went to the models pallette and type in 9, 94, 0, 51 for the values of CMYK, you get something that looks PURPLE, not burgundy!
I'm using Corel Draw 11.
